# Privacy Policy

> How Keystone Data Strategies collects and uses account and platform information.

This Privacy Policy describes how Keystone Data Strategies, LLC d/b/a Keystone Data Strategies ("KDS") collects and uses information when you use Keystone Vote Explorer.

## Information we collect

We collect account information you provide at signup (name, email, phone, organization details), authentication events, query and export activity for audit purposes, and technical data such as IP address when you accept legal terms or sign in.

## How we use information

We use this information to operate the Platform, enforce permitted-use restrictions on Pennsylvania voter data, maintain security and audit logs, process subscriptions, and communicate with you about your account.

## Third-party services

We use trusted service providers to run the Platform. These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually required to protect it:

- Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing.
- Vercel — application hosting and infrastructure.
- Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage.
- Resend — transactional email (account notices, billing, and support).
- Vercel Analytics — aggregated, privacy-oriented usage metrics (no advertising profiles).

## Payment information

Payment card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe. KDS does not store full card numbers on our servers. We retain Stripe customer identifiers, subscription status, and billing history needed to manage your account.

## Cookies and session data

We use essential cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, protect your session, and remember legal-term acceptance. These are required for the Platform to function and are not used for third-party advertising.

## Data retention

We retain account and audit information for as long as your organization has an active account and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, security, and compliance obligations. You may request deletion of personal account data by contacting us; some records (such as export audit logs) may be retained where required by law or permitted-use agreements.

## Voter data

Pennsylvania FVE data accessed through the Platform remains subject to state law and DOS restrictions. KDS does not sell voter file data. Customer queries and exports are logged for compliance.
